Monitoring expertise for complex IT and OT environments

From December 2 to 4, 2025, i-Vertix presented at Black Hat MEA in Riyadh – one of the leading cybersecurity events in the Middle East. The conference is considered an important meeting point for security officers, IT architects, and technology providers to exchange ideas on current developments in IT security, infrastructure management, and digital resilience.

Together with partner EMT, i-Vertix was represented at booth T10 in Hall 1. There, the company presented its latest developments in the field of IT monitoring and demonstrated how modern monitoring platforms can support companies in operating increasingly complex IT landscapes transparently, efficiently, and securely.

Monitoring as a strategic tool for modern IT landscapes

With advancing digitalization, the requirements for IT infrastructures are increasing significantly. Hybrid architectures, cloud services, containerized applications, and distributed systems lead to increasing complexity in IT operations.

Against this background, i-Vertix pursues an approach where monitoring is understood not just as a reactive control instrument, but as a strategic tool for the proactive management and optimization of IT environments. The goal is to provide IT teams with early visibility into performance data, system states, and potential risks, thereby identifying outages or performance issues at an early stage.

At Black Hat MEA, i-Vertix particularly showcased the features of the current platform version 4.3, which helps companies monitor their IT and network environments holistically.

End-to-end visibility across complex IT infrastructures

The monitoring platform offers a comprehensive end-to-end view of modern IT infrastructures – from classic data center environments to hybrid architectures and cloud and container platforms.

Key functional areas include:

IT Monitoring

The platform enables comprehensive monitoring of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures. Automated network discovery, proactive alerting mechanisms, SLA evaluations, and performance analyses support IT teams in continuously analyzing operational states and identifying potential problems early.

More than 700 manufacturer technologies and over 5,000 device types can be integrated into the monitoring via an integrated plugin store.

Network Monitoring

Detailed analyses of network components enable precise monitoring of switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN infrastructures, SD-WAN architectures, and IoT devices. Real-time performance data and intelligent anomaly detection help to identify disruptions early and operate networks stably.

Application and Server Monitoring

Business-critical applications, databases, and server systems can be monitored across various platforms – including Windows, Linux, and containerized environments. This provides IT teams with a centralized overview of the stability, performance, and availability of their services.

Cloud Monitoring

For cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Cisco Meraki, i-Vertix offers comprehensive visibility into resources, services, and dependencies within cloud-based architectures.

Business Intelligence and Analysis Functions

Integrated analysis functions allow monitoring data to be systematically evaluated and converted into decision-relevant information. Performance trends and operational data are clearly presented and support strategic IT decisions.

NetFlow Analysis

The integrated NetFlow analysis enables a detailed investigation of network flows and supports IT teams in analyzing traffic patterns, identifying bottlenecks, and efficiently managing network resources.

Centralized Log Management

Log data from different systems can be centrally collected, analyzed, and archived. This improves both operational visibility and compliance with regulatory and security-related requirements.

Automated Discovery and Flexible Visualization

Another key component of the platform is the intelligent auto-discovery function. It enables the automatic detection of IT systems, network components, and dependencies within the infrastructure.

Furthermore, dashboards can be flexibly configured and adapted to different user roles – from technical operational views to management reports.

International Platform for Exchange and Innovation

Participation in Black Hat MEA provided i-Vertix with an important opportunity to exchange ideas with international trade visitors, partners, and industry experts. The dialogue with IT security managers and infrastructure architects from various markets provided valuable insights into current requirements for monitoring and observability platforms.

The event also highlighted the growing importance of integrated monitoring solutions that combine visibility, performance management, and security aspects of modern IT infrastructures.
