On the road together: i-Vertix Team Day in Ultental

Sometimes it’s precisely the days away from projects, meetings, and technology that show what makes a good team. This year’s i-Vertix Team Day took us to Ultental in South Tyrol—a place whose unspoiled landscape, impressive mountain scenery, and unique tranquility provided the perfect setting for a day together.

South Tyrol is not only where i-Vertix has its roots. It also represents much of what matters to us as a company: down-to-earth values, reliability, short distances, and at the same time a view beyond our own borders. From here we work with customers and partners in different countries and markets—which makes it all the more rewarding to return together to where it all began.

Out of the daily routine, up into the mountains

Ultental is one of the valleys in South Tyrol that has retained much of its original character. Away from the major tourism centers, the landscape is shaped by forests, alpine pastures, traditional farms, and the surrounding peaks.

With perfect weather and blue skies, our team deliberately stepped out of the usual work environment. No screens, no appointments, and for a few hours no tickets, dashboards, or monitoring systems either. Instead, the focus was on activity, time together, good conversations, and of course the South Tyrolean mountain landscape.

Days like these create space for the kind of exchange that sometimes gets short shrift in everyday work. You talk with colleagues about different topics, get to know each other from a new perspective, and spend time together without the next video conference already waiting in the calendar.

Technology is created by people

At i-Vertix we work with technology every day. We develop solutions, discuss new features, support projects, and work together with our partners and customers to make complex IT environments more transparent and manageable.

But behind every technology are people.

Different experiences, skills, and personalities are what turn a technical solution into a successful product and individual employees into a team. Development, consulting, presales, sales, or marketing may have different tasks in daily work—but in the end everyone is working toward a common goal.

That’s precisely why shared experiences like these are part of our corporate culture. Not as a classic “team-building program,” but simply as an opportunity to spend time with each other, experience something together, and strengthen personal exchange.

A day that will be remembered

Ultental provided the right backdrop for this: South Tyrolean mountains, impressive views, perfect weather, and enough time to leave everyday work behind for a moment.

In the end, it was above all an uncomplicated, really good day with a strong team.

A big thank you to the entire i-Vertix team for the commitment, ideas, and energy that each individual brings every single day. Because for all the projects, technologies, and challenges, one thing remains decisive: it’s the people who make the difference.
