With the new i-Vertix Troubleshooter module, you can quickly check the status of plugins and their output, and adjust them as needed, without having to test changes live every time. The built-in “Plugin Help” feature allows you to test thresholds and filters in advance, ensuring that your configuration is correct before it goes live.

The module significantly improves debugging. Most plugins now support debug and verbose modes, so you can see queried OIDs and their values in real-time. For REST API plugins, you can even view HTTP request outputs, including status codes and cookies. And the best part: all of this can be done directly from the Management GUI, without needing to access the Poller’s CLI.

Advanced Troubleshooting Tools:
For more in-depth diagnostics, additional tools are available. A simple ping shows whether the target system is reachable, traceroute reveals the path to the destination, telnet checks if a port is open, and tcpdump allows you to see which packets are arriving at the Central/Poller.
